Murder victim Marcel Jackson, 39, of the NOI fronts, X-Men Security and Detroit 300; can any readers identify the star on his lapel?

Thanks to my partner-in-crime, David in TN, who writes,
The denouement of a story you blogged about in 2012.

Detroit 300 is an NOI front, as is the security company that Marcel Jackson ran. Note too that the ranks of elite NOI assassins come from their bodyguard/security details.

“As a volunteer for Detroit 300, Marcel Jackson spent countless hours tracking down rapists and murderers, finding justice for crime victims.”

I know of no such thing. Indeed, not even at the time of Jackson’s death, did I hear such hype. The article below was likely written either by an NOI-sympathizer media operative, or is simply an NOI press release.

Marcel Jackson was an acolyte and employee of genocidal racist and cop-killer, Min. Louis Farrakhan (picture from July 16, 2012.)

(WXYZ) - A man convicted in the murder of a well-known anti-crime crusader has been sentenced to a minimum of 37 years in prison.

Michael Lawson was one of two men found guilty of killing Detroit 300 co-founder Marcel Jackson. He had previously been found guilty of Second Degree Murder.

Marcel Jackson was just 39-years-old and the father of six children. He was killed while he was working security at a Detroit nightclub back in 2012.

Another man, Carl Bruner, had already been sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of First Degree Murder in the case.

Speaking of Detroit, a new Investigative Discovery Channel show called "Surviving Evil," has an episode on Sunday morning October 18 at 10 am ET called "The Queen's Daughter."

It concerns a 1976 kidnapping-rape of a young Canadian woman who with "friends" came to Detroit one night for the nightlife. On the way back to Windsor, Canada a flat tire stranded her on the freeway late at night. She was grabbed by a "gang of youths" who took her to a house and raped her repeatedly.

How she escaped with her life is the story. I saw it last night. Her name is Melissa McCormick and this story is supposedly well known in Canada through a book with the title used for the episode.
