Want to Save Affirmative Action at the University of Texas/Austin? Stage a Hate Crime Hoax… or a Whole Bunch of ‘Em, and Endanger White Students’ Lives! (My New VDARE Column is Up!)

“University of Texas Hoax Crimes Intended to Save Affirmative Action?”

(What follows is not the column, but supplementary material.)

Is the Texas state flag a symbol of racism and hate? Is hanging it from an apartment balcony evidence of a hate crime? It is to WVUE News, which focused at length on a Texas flag hanging from a campus apartment balcony, misleading viewers into believing that someone in the apartment had dropped a bleach-filled balloon on to a “student of color,” and thereby endangering the lives of the apartment’s occupants.

Jaysen Runnels No Ma'am lol ...we as black people at UT have had enough of the racism on campus so we decided to do something about it. I don't live in the part of UT where the "white washing" or bleach balloon attacks or happening so I'll be okay

From Jaysen Runnels’ Facebook page.
The problem with Runnels’ assertion is that virtually all of the “racism on campus” is anti-white racism.

“Police investigating bleach balloon attacks on UT students”

“West Campus bleach bombings lead to march against racism”

“UT students speak out about bleach balloon attacks”

The above titles are all from credulous WVUE News stories promoting the “hate crime” narrative.

Remember the names Melissa Mahadeo, Shelton Green, Nia Wesley and Jaysen Runnels. They are at the center of the hate crime hoaxes that hit UT, eight days before the big affirmative action case, Abigail Noel Fisher v. University of Texas, was to come before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Mahadeo and Green are activist, affirmative action “reporters” at WVUE News, while Wesley and Runnels are activist, affirmative action “students” at UT/Austin.

Melissa Mahadeo neglected to mention that Nia Wesley was a student journalist last year in high school, and described herself as an “aspiring journalist.” The half-dozen op-eds of hers that I found may have been shallow, apolitical puff pieces (see here, here, here, here, here and here), but she’s certainly used to people promoting whatever she has to say, and there’s no excuse for Mahadeo to neglect checking her out, and/or suppress reporting Wesley’s journalistic exertions.

The possible inspiration for this hoax: One of the rare white hate crime hoaxes entailed Bethany Storro actually throwing a caustic liquid in her face in Vancouver, WA, two years ago, and claiming that a black woman did it. But unlike these characters, Storro suffered grievous facial injuries.

Today’s “diverse” college campus, or as I call it, the antiversity, increasingly mirrors its newsroom counterpart. In both cases, unqualified, affirmative action groups—blacks, Hispanics, feminists, militant homosexuals, etc.—institutionalize hoaxes, violent intolerance, and discrimination, while projecting it onto white heterosexual men… and, of course, agitate and advocate for ever more group privileges for their respective hate groups.
